New Marketing for Planned Gifts & Legacy Societies: How to Stand Out in a Crowd Steven Rosenblum, JD, Saint Louis Zoo
How to Stand Out in a Crowd will present unique and innovate ways (along with some of the tried and true methods) of marketing planned gifts and legacy societies. In a time when more and more organizations are sending out marketing pieces on planned gifts it is important to be sure that your institution will be noticed. Learn about ways to increase response rates, receive more requests for information and how to attract donors to your web site through postcards, newsletters, phone calls and other ways of contact.
Steven Rosenblum has been the Director of Planned Gifts at the Saint Louis Zoo since 2005. He brings a wealth of knowledge in the areas of charitable gifts and estate planning from his seven years at Washington University and his work with the St. Louis Planned Giving Council Board and Leave A Legacy program where he serves as Co-Chair. Steven is also the Co-Chair of the Legacy Awards Dinner and serves on the planning committee for the “Will to Give” program.
Steven is a graduate of Washington University Law School (JD 1992) and has a BA from the History Honors College at the University of Texas at Austin (1989). His dedication and devotion to the non-profit world and his ability to link high end donors to the institutions he works at has made him a well respected member of both the non-profit community and the legal community.
In addition to his career goals Steven is also active in the community and currently serves on several area Boards of Directors including the Crown Center for Senior Living, an independent living apartment complex for low income seniors where he currently serves as Board President. |

Since bequests are the most prevalent planned gifts, running a successful wills bequest campaign will be explored. Electronic and print media boost results. Learn how to focus on the gifts that endow.

She mentors charities in establishing planned givig websites and marketing planned gifts using the Internet, eNewsletters, and royalty-free literature.
