NOMINATIONS PROCESS, DINNER AND AWARDS PRESENTATION
JUNE 26, 2008 • 7:00 P.M. • MISSOURI HISTORY MUSEUM GRAND HALL

The Saint Louis Planned Giving Council, through Leave a Legacy St. Louis ®, and in partnership with the Greater Saint Louis Community Foundation, is now accepting nominations for the Legacy Awards, to be announced on June 26th, at a community event recognizing the crucial interaction between a donor, an advisor and a charity to create a charitable planned gift. This inaugural event will highlight the cooperation and collaboration that generates truly unique and inspirational legacy gifts throughout the St. Louis region.

A Donor Recognition Award will be awarded to an individual, couple or family who has made a significant impact on Saint Louis through their planned gift to a charity or charities. The donor may be living or deceased.

A Non-Profit Recognition Award will be awarded to the staff members of a nonprofit organization for excellence in planned giving. The award is designed to inspire expanded services to donors as well as best practices in planned giving.

A Professional Advisor Award will be awarded to a professional for-profit gift planning advisor. “Wealth advisors” will be nominated for this award based on their activity in the previous 2 years that demonstrates great skill, knowledge, imagination and insight to meet the specific needs of his/her client and was instrumental in making an impact estate or planned gift for a nonprofit organization/cause and the community.

Help spread the word of these nomination opportunities among colleagues, planned giving staff, donors, and your professional advisor contacts. Anyone can make a nomination, and all are welcome to make multiple nominations.

Seats for the June 26th Legacy Award Dinner are available for $50 per person. Click here to register. Nonprofit leaders and development staff members are encouraged to attend the Dinner. You’re also encouraged to bring donors and professional advisors who work with your organizations as your guests! Space is very limited – you may want to act quickly.
