What are the Legacy Awards?
The Saint Louis Planned Giving Council, through Leave a Legacy® St. Louis, and in partnership with the Greater Saint Louis Community Foundation, initiated the Legacy Awards to recoginize the crucial interaction between donor, advisor, and charity necessary in creating a charitable planned gift. This event highlights the cooperation and collaboration that results in inspirational gifts in our community.
The Donor Recognition Award is awarded to an individual, couple, or family who has made a significant impact on Saint Louis through their planned gift to a charity.
The Non-Profit Recognition Award is awarded to the staff of a non-profit organization for excellence in its planned giving program. The award is designed to inspire best practices in planned giving.
The Professional Advisor Award is awarded to a professional for-profit gift planning advisor. This award recognizes that advisor's skill, knowledge, imagination, and insight in meeting the specific needs of his/her client.
